What are the age requirements for Paragon?
To participate in Paragon, you must be born between December 1, 2002 and July 1, 2005.
What is the application process like to apply for Paragon?
The application process begins with an application that combines short answer questions, an internationally benchmarked cognitive ability assessment, a personality test and video interview questions.
It should take roughly one hour to complete and does not have to be completed in one sitting, you can return to the application to complete it over the course of the application period.
A percentage of applicants will be shortlisted for a semi-finalist round, where all semi-finalists will engage in a dialogue on global grand challenges. This will be an interactive forum for semi-finalists to express their ideas and thoughts on big, pressing issues; and engage in healthy dialogue with other passionate finalists from around the globe. At this same time, the Paragon team will be reaching out to the recommender’s of the semi-finalists for summary recommendations.
When will I find out about whether I am selected for Paragon?
The 40 selected participants will be announced on October 01, 2020.
Will I need my parents or guardian to agree to my attendance?
Yes! We will provide waivers that your parents or guardian must sign, acknowledging that they understand Paragon’s goal and the associated programme that you will be applying for.
Do I have to pay money to participate in Paragon?
There are no costs related to applying or participating in the Paragon program. If you are selected as one of the 40 Fellows, the Paragon team will cover your round-trip airfare, visa costs, health insurance, housing, food and ground transport.
Selected participants will never be asked to pay money for participating in the program.
